What do I think of Siddhartha's journey? Thats easy. I think it was really beneficial. After following Siddhartha on his journey, I think that he learned alot about life, and I think I saw him learn his lesson best when he was with Kamala.
I think Siddhartha learned alot about life, especially when he was with Kamala. I believe this because he experienced love, life, and even death. He fell in love with Kamala first of all. She was very special to him in so many ways. Secondly, he saw Kamala die due to a snake bite. This was hard for him to deal with. Thirdly, Kamala and he had a son together. After Kamala's death, Siddhartha immediatley took action and took the boy to live with him. These various reasons explain my thought on why I believe Siddhartha learned alot about life.

I believe anyone can do anything they want to if they believe in themselves. Siddhartha believed in himself. He said he was going to achieve Nirvana and one day become the Buddha, and he did it. Someone once told me that if you shoot for the moon, even if you miss, you will land amoung the stars. I think that is great advice to follow throughout life. Siddhartha's jounrey was very interesting and I now believe that there truley is hope for everyone to achieve their goals.

OR Twilight post 3
When Bella was up north with her friends over the weekend, she found out some strange evidence about the Cullens. She found that they were known to be vampires, but that they didnt hunt people, but animals. This worried Bella. When she got home she immediatley searched vampires on the internet. She found that not too much of what she read related to Edward, so she was slightly relieved.
On Wednsday of that week, Bella and 2 friends went up to Port Angeles to shop for dresses for the dance. Even though Bella wasnt going, she decided to tag along anyway. When the 2 other girls wanted to keep looking, Bella decided that she would wonder down the street and try to find a bookstore. After a while, she realized that she was not only lost, but that she was being followed. She was begining to really panic when a silver volvo pulled up next to her and someone inside said "get in, Bella." she knew it was Edward.
Edward and Bella then met up with Bella's friends. They had already eaten, so they were going to be heading home. Bella hadnt eaten , she Edward offered to go eat something with her and then drive her home instead. They 2 friends said that was fine and they were off.
After dinner, Bella and Edward got in the car, headed for home. But Bella had many questions: She wanted to know exactly what was going on with Edward and his family. After a while, Edward told her that he was truly a vampire. They talked about his thirst for blood and what he really was doing when the sun is out and just "happened" not to be at school. Bella told Edward that she didnt car what he was. This comforted Edward majorly.
This talk brought them both much closer together. By the end of the drive, when Bella was getting out of the car to go inside her house, she realized that she was "inconditionally and irrevocably in love with him."

Winter shortly began and so did the snow. One day in the parking lot, a highschooler began to hydroplan and almost swung right into Bella. He didnt hit her though because right as he was about to, Edward Cullen swung Bella off her feet and into his arms to save her. Bella pondered about this and asked Edward countless questions about how he had gotten there so fast and why he saved her. These questions began to bother Edward. He finally told Bella to stop asking questions and that he didnt want her to be friends with him because he wasnt a the friend type. This aggrivated Bella because she knew that he wasnt telling her something. She also was upset because she just lost Edward.
After the fight, Edward and Bella didnt speak for a while. When Edward made it clear to Bella that he wouldnt be a good friend, they immediatley stopped talking.
About a month passed before Edward and Bella began talking again. It really all started when Bella fainted in biology due to the blood type experiment that they were doing. When she was making her way to the nurse, Edward was suddenly right beside her. He took her into his arms and walked her the rest of the way.

Isabella Swan, better known as "Bella" has recently moved to Forks, Washington to live with her father, Charlie. When she arrives, it is raining and she immediatley feels that she is not going to like it there.
The first day of school was the next day. She meet some nice people who she sat with at lunch. While eating, she noticed a very strange group of people sitting in a far corner of the lunch room. She asks one of her new friends who they are. She replys that they are the Cullen family, the adopted children or Doctor and Mrs Cullen. Bella notices that one of the Cullens in particular, Edward, was extremley good looking. He was very pale with light brown hair. One thing that she noticed in particular though was that his eyes were BLACK.
For the rest of the lunch period, she could not keep her eyes off of Edward. They made eye contact multiple times. After lunch, she goes to biology class and finds that Edward is not only in her class, but is going to be sitting next to her. Bella is happy yet a bit frightened.
Edward was very cold towards her for the whole class. Bella began to worry that he already didnt like her. After school, she saw Edward in the office trying to switch out of biology that hour. Bella immediatley thinks that he is trying to switch out because of her.
A week passes. Edward hasn't been at school since that very first day. Bella is really starting to worry. Finally, the next Monday, Edward is back at school and is unusually friendly towards her. She feels a slight sigh of relief. She then again notices how good looking Edward truly was. But then, she realizes something that sent the chills right up her back: his eyes were hazel, as apposed to the black-ish color they were a week ago.

Dear Advice Columnist,
I need some advice for my friend, Siddhartha. He recently left our town in search of his goal to reach enlightenment and eventually achieve Nirvana. Since then, he has become someone new. He began drinking and eating things that he has never before eaten, like meat for example. Also, he has found love with a woman, Kamala. I think she is part of the problem.
The reason this concerns me is because I fear that when he returns, he won't be the same Siddhartha we all used to know and love. He has fled in the confusion of passion, wine, and even wealth. I want to try to help him get out of this mess and hopefully come back to the person he was. So if you could give me some advice for him, I would be forever thankful.

G: ahh idk. im pretty sad. he was my bff. i could really use some advice.
D: well, i would just say to try not to think about it so much. i know you guys were best friends, but you have to understand that Siddhartha HAD to leave, because of his whole "teaching enlgihtenment" and his "wanting to find self." he didnt do it to hurt you.
G: i know but im still sad :(
D: well you have me!! trust me you can talk to me about anything!!

I really feel bad for Govinda. I have to imagine that its got to be really hard for him. I know that if my best friend just came to me and told me that he or she was leaving (without any notice for that matter) I would probebly be pretty upset myself. I am going to do my best to help him relieve his pain. I'm sure he is feeling things inside that he isnt sure how he is going to get over. Hopefully with my help, he will be able to recover soon enough though and we will become beter friends in the end!!

Daynita and Buddha
Hello! My name is Daynita. Daynita means 'beloved' in indian. I am 16 years old. I live in India with my parents and 2 siblings. I have many family members on both sides and I also have 2 pets! One cat and one dog. Our family practices the religion called Buddhism
Siddhartha Gautama was the founder of Buddhism. He himself is actually the Buddha. He discovered it but sitting under a tree for 8 days and then acheiving enlightenment. We Buddhists believe that everyone can experience enlighenment and eventually achieve Nirvana by following the 8-fold path!
