breaking dawn post #47

The Volturi are about to come to Forks. Bella meets up with J.Jenks one last time to finalize the papers, for she thinks that she and her family are not going to live through this fight. When the day final comes, Bella and Edward have a talk. They tell eachother how much they love eachother, and that no matter what happens, that they will always be together. Bella gets nervous when Carlise first approaches the Volturi. He at first made it casual, like he was seeing an old freind for the first time in years. They then begin to discuss the whole reason they came, Renesmee. Aro, the head vampire, states that another vampire had told him that Renesmee was a baby, but that he now was confused because she looked like a mature 6 year old. Carlise proceeded to tell him and the rest of the Volturi that Renesme was not immortal, yet she was not a vampire either, and that was why she looked and did things the way she did. Aro still was confused, but just went along with it. Then, it was Edward's turn to confront Aro. It was different with him though because they didn't speak, they just looked at eachother, somberly. Stepenie Meyer writes that "all of the thoughts and feelings Edward had had over the years of many people all were now put into Aro's thought and feelings." The chapter ends with the two staring blankly into eachothers eyes, and Edward had a sneer upon his face.

BREAKING DAWN OR-POST #46

The Volturi is getting closer every day, and the Cullens are getting more farfull every day. 2 more vampire covins have entered the novel, the australians and the bulgarians. They are also living with the Cullens. Just like the other vampires, they fear Renesmee for several reasons: she is half human half vamp, she is growing so fast its hard to keep up with her, and she always knows whats going on.
It is Christmas time, and Bella hadn't even begun to think about a gift for Renesmee or Charlie. Fortunately, Edward had special ordered a new tv for Charlie, but Renesmee still had no gift. While Bella was out getting her paper (birth certificates, licences, etc.) printed (because she thinks she and her family are going to die), she saw the perfect gift in a shop window: a golden locket. She bought it, and when she got home she showed it to Edward. It was a circular locket that opened, and inside there was a spot for a picture, and something along the lines of "greater than my life" engraved on the other side in french.
Renesmee loved it. Along with the locket, Edward also had bought her an mp3 player, contained already 500 of Edward's favorite songs. From Jacob, she received a Qualitte braided version of a promise ring. Edward on the other hand was not a huge fan of this gift, but to Bella it was the greatest gift of all.

BREAKING DAWN--OR #1, POST #45

As I continue to read the novel, Breaking Dawn, the more I feel sorry for Bella. I always have thought that she was kind of a sad sack, but now I'm reazling that she just has alot of self isteem issues! Since she had Renesmee, things have just gone down hill for her and her family. An old vampire from the Volturi saw her and Jacob in the woods one day. She then ran and told the Volturi and now they are coming to try and kill not only Renesmee, but the whole Cullen pack. Since this incident, Carlise has contacted many of his vampire relations to come out and help. As the more enter the novel, the stranger they get. The first vampires that come to meet the Cullens are from California. They are sweet, but a bit stand-off-ish...especially to Renesmee at first. They believe she is abnormal...which she is! She's half vampire, half human! As more and more vampires come, things get worse. Every day the Volturi are getting closer to Forks. As Bella, Edward, and the rest of the family plan for this event, Renesmee is getting to know the many vampire she now must deal with. On the other hand, the vampires are learning how to deal with Renesmee. Will they ever accept her? Will the Voturi accept her?
